Often, when we wrote together, I would be at my desk at work, and Terry would be at home. He'd email: 'Wanna write a song?'
He'd give me the title and verse one.
I would reply with the verse two.
He would come back with verse three. And so on...
If I took longer than 15 minutes he'd email: “I’m waiting…”
"I've got the melody, hurry up."
Then, when I got home he would play it for me. Weren't we just insufferably cute?
